Sellers prefer to sell their products on Amazon because it’s one of the most popular e-commerce channels. It also has a global customer base, provides fulfillment centers, and offers various advertising options. However, sellers can utilize several other omnichannels to diversify their marketing strategy and 10X their growth.

For vendors who have grown comfortable with Amazon and may be hesitant to try different shopping platforms, Eric Kooymans, a veteran in the e-commerce industry, suggests starting with Google Shopping. It’s an easy setup, especially if you already use Shopify or WooCommerce. Google Shopping provides plugins allowing you to activate different platforms that populate multiple feeds. Eric also recommends Faire, an online wholesale marketplace. Faire helps sellers easily set up their online storefront, gives access to a large customer base, manages orders efficiently, and connects you with new customers. These are just a few strategies Eric expounds on in his 10-step action plan.

Eric, I know that you are a wealth of knowledge when it comes to e-commerce. And your knowledge is not just centered on Amazon, specifically, where many of our listeners are, you have a much greater experience in lay of the land. In e-commerce in general, we talked about Shopify, Magento. And there’s so much more outside of the Amazon e-commerce ecosystem. And that’s where you have that experience. And so I’m super excited to have you on the show today. And I know our listeners are gonna get a lot of value. The main thing that I want to talk about and share with our listeners is to kind of open their mind to the possibilities outside of Amazon. And so Eric, we could maybe use my brand as an example, where we’ve generated a lot of success on Amazon. But 98% of our sales all come from Amazon. And I know there’s greater aspirations we have for the brand, we want to take it to $100 million, right. But to take it to $100 million, we probably need to execute different strategies and get into different marketplaces or channels. And just continue to expand our community of followers, etc. So, Eric, if somebody like myself comes to you with this, where do you begin?
